Magazine Managing Editor and Line Editor

Montana State University Extension’s Lives & Landscapes informs with how-to articles for all. Previously Big Sky, Small Acres, the magazine debuted in 2008, serving an audience of small-acreage landowners and agricultural producers.

In the copy and line editor role since inception, and a few years as managing editor, I collaborate on all aspects of production: plan issues and articles with a board of advisors; manage deadlines and content with authors, editors and graphic designers; write articles; edit for line, copy, and layout; estimate, purchase and approve printing.
